User responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you submit and any claims you associate with it, including collaboration details, split allocations and AI declarations. Lyricsmit does not review, validate, or endorse any submitted material. A record in the Lyricsmit system reflects only that a file with a given fingerprint was submitted at a given time, together with the information the creator chose to include.

Collaboration & split information

Collaboration details, contributor names and split allocations are supplied by creators. Lyricsmit records this information as submitted but does not independently verify its accuracy or determine ownership, entitlement, contractual rights or legal interests.

Certificates

Legacy Certificates are enhanced presentations of an existing Creative Record. Purchasing a certificate does not change the legal status of a record or determine ownership, copyright, authorship or legal rights.

AI declarations

Declarations about whether a work was created without AI, created with AI assistance, or generated by AI are made by the creator. Lyricsmit records these declarations but does not independently verify them.

Service availability

Lyricsmit intends verification services, including access to the Creative Record Archive, to remain available to support the record system described here. This may change as the platform evolves, and availability may be subject to service continuity, technical changes, and circumstances beyond Lyricsmit's control. Records should not be relied upon as the sole evidence of file existence in legal proceedings.
