Lyricsmit is operated from Australia. These pages describe the Lyricsmit service; they do not claim a registered company name beyond that service.

Service Scope
Lyricsmit provides a system for generating verifiable records that a file existed at a specific point in time. It does not verify ownership, authorship, or originality. All records represent proof of existence only.
No Legal Advice
Lyricsmit does not provide legal advice. Records generated by Lyricsmit are not a substitute for copyright registration, formal agreements, or qualified legal counsel. If you have a legal question about your work, consult a qualified professional.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you submit and any metadata you associate with it. By submitting a file, you represent that you have the right or permission to submit that material to Lyricsmit. Lyricsmit does not review, endorse, or make any determination about submitted files.
Verification Availability
Records can be checked on Lyricsmit while the service operates. RFC 3161 timestamp tokens, when present, are designed to remain independently verifiable even if the Lyricsmit website is down — if you have kept the token (download the Evidence Pack). Lyricsmit makes no guarantee of indefinite website or registry availability. See the continuity policy.
Duplicate or Mismatched Records
If you believe a record is incorrect, duplicated, or associated with the wrong metadata, contact us at hello@lyricsmit.com. We will review the request and respond as promptly as circumstances allow.
Premium Purchases
Legacy Certificate purchases upgrade the presentation and verification features for a record. They are not a legal registration or any determination of rights. Payment is processed securely. If a payment is completed and the upgrade is not delivered, contact hello@lyricsmit.com and we will resolve it promptly.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lyricsmit's liability for any claim arising out of use of the service is limited to the amount paid for the applicable service. Lyricsmit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The last-updated date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Lyricsmit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
