Does Lyricsmit store my original file?
No.
Your original file is used only to generate its unique cryptographic fingerprint.
The file is immediately discarded and never retained.
Is my work kept private?
Yes.
Lyricsmit stores only the cryptographic fingerprint, timestamp and record information needed to verify your Creative Record.
Your original file is never stored.
How does fingerprinting work?
A SHA-256 cryptographic fingerprint is created from your file.
Even the smallest change creates a completely different fingerprint, making every record uniquely linked to that specific version of your work.
Can I verify my record later?
Yes.
Every Lyricsmit Record can be independently verified using its record details and verification tools.
Does Lyricsmit claim ownership of my work?
No.
Lyricsmit creates an independent proof-of-existence record only.
It does not claim ownership, authorship, originality, copyright status or legal rights over your work.
