For developers

Timestamp your code before it ships.

Code gets shared before contracts exist. Prototypes get handed over before NDAs are signed. Lyricsmit gives you a private, verifiable record of your files at the moment they exist — outside git, outside any platform, outside any other party's account.

Sharing code before a contract

You share a proof-of-concept, a prototype, or a codebase with a client or partner before any formal agreement is signed. A Lyricsmit record timestamps that archive at the moment it is delivered, independent of any email thread.

Open source contributions

You contribute an original algorithm, a library, or a novel approach before it is merged or published. A timestamped record of the original file establishes when your contribution existed — before any commit history or merge date.

Contract development handoffs

You deliver a build, a codebase, or technical documentation to a client. A Lyricsmit record timestamps the exact files delivered at the exact moment of handoff — an independent record outside any project management tool.

Proof of existence. Not a copyright claim.

Lyricsmit does not register ownership, authorship, or legal rights. It creates a timestamped record showing a specific file existed at a specific moment — verifiable by anyone with the link, at any time.

That record is independent. It does not depend on a platform, a version control host, or another person to confirm it.

How it works

01

Upload the file

A ZIP archive, a single source file, or any build artifact. Your browser fingerprints it. The file stays with you.

02

Get the timestamp

A SHA-256 fingerprint and UTC timestamp are recorded. You receive a permanent record ID and a shareable verification link.

03

Verify anytime

Anyone with the link can check the record. No account needed. Independent and permanent.
