You send a beat to an artist for consideration. No contract yet — they're just listening. Lyricsmit creates a timestamped record of that exact file before it leaves your drive, establishing when it existed and what it contained.
Selling beats online
You lease or sell beats through your own store or a marketplace. A Lyricsmit record adds an independent timestamp to each beat — a record that exists outside any platform's terms, history, or dispute process.
Co-producing with other producers
You collaborate on a beat. Each producer contributes stems, ideas, or arrangements. A timestamped record at each stage of the session establishes what was created and when — before any credit conversation happens.

Lyricsmit does not register ownership, authorship, or legal rights. It creates a timestamped record showing a specific file existed at a specific moment — verifiable by anyone with the link, at any time.
That record is independent. It does not depend on a platform, a distributor, or another person to confirm it.

Any format — WAV, MP3, FLAC, project archive. Your browser fingerprints it. The file stays with you.

A SHA-256 fingerprint and UTC timestamp are recorded. You receive a permanent record ID and a shareable verification link.
